Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027”

Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027” constitutes a multi-annual, multi-fund development Programme that was drawn up in accordance to the Article 22 of the Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 (Common Provisions Regulation – CPR), outlining the development strategy for the utilization of the resources allocated to Cyprus through the Cohesion Policy Funds, for the period 2021-2027. The total budget of the Programme amounts to €1.81 billion, of which €969 million comes from the EU Cohesion Policy Funds, while the remaining €842 million is the national contribution.

Participation in Subsidized Employment Grant Schemes

Hellenic Technical participates in two subsidized schemes through the Department of Labor, Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance, which is the intermediate Body for Subsidized Employment Grant Schemes for the Unemployed People, and implemented under the Cohesion Policy Programme ‘Thalia 2021-2027’, Co-funded by the European Union.

Incentive Scheme for the recruitment of Unemployed over 50 years of age

Our participation in the incentive scheme for the recruitment of unemployed over 50 years of age, was done by hiring a person who was registered on the Online Employment Platform of the Department of Labor.

Incentive Scheme for the Employment of Young People aged 15 to 29

Our participation in the incentive scheme for the employement of unemployed young people, was done by hiring a person who was registered on the Online Employment Platform of the Department of Labour. The scheme allows for flexible working arrangements, including part-time, teleworking, and compressed hours.

Managing Authority

The Directorate General Growth, Ministry of Finance, is the National Authority for the planning, management and utilization of resources distributed in Cyprus from the Cohesion Policy Funds, as well as the Managing Authority for the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027”, with overall responsibility for its management and implementation.
